I am a self-published Canadian author residing in Toronto, Ontario.

My writing journey began in the deep, dark pits of LiveJournal fanfiction. Although those particular works will never see the light of day (nor will I ever confess to writing them in case they happen to surface), they were the early stepping stones of my author career.

Writing is something I always dabbled in, but I never took it seriously until after university. I’d taken a few creative writing courses, and based on the feedback from my professors, decided that perhaps I may be able to accomplish something in this space.

Immediately, I knew I wanted to write a fantasy novel. I love the genre and it’s pretty much exclusively what I read.

It took me close to a decade to get to where I am now. From deciding on which story I wanted to tell, to flip-flopping between plotlines, to scrapping countless drafts, to finally writing, editing and publishing, this process has eaten up pretty much my entire 20s. I always thought writing would be the hardest part, but that was very naive thinking on my part.

The journey has been long but it is indeed fruitful. I hope you find my works of interest to you, and that they come to mean as much to you as they do to me.
